Wine
Pipers Brook Riesling fruit ripens slowly in the Tamar Valley. Proximity to the sea provides a cool maritime climate, allowing flavour and sugar to accumulate gradually.
The grapes are chilled naturally overnight and harvested in the early morning. While in the press, the fruit sees a short period of skin contact to develop complexity and texture in the juice.
Fermentation occurs slowly at very low temperatures in stainless steel vessels. The wine is bottled early to lock in freshness.
Very light straw, Pipers Brook Riesling has flavours of juicy citrus with crisp red apple intensity and a lasting minerality. Cellaring potential is seven years.
